Directions: From K-10 take the De Soto Lexington Street exit. Go north several miles and turn north on Ottawa Street. You will go through several stop signs and over two sets of railroad tracks. The road curves left and entrance to boat ramp is about 1/2 mile. The city of De Soto is developing Riverfest Park so you will pass several entrances to camping and picnic area. Turn right at the entrance with the blue boat ramp sign and follow the road to a large gravel parking lot.
When coming from the west on I-70 take Lawrence exit #202 and go south on Iowa Street to 23rd Street. Go left or west on 23rd Street through Lawrence, this becomes K- 10 and follow directions above.
When coming from the east on I-70 take exit #223 and and turn left or south on K-7. Follow K-7 about 11.5 miles to K-10 and go west. From K-10 take the De Soto Lexington Street exit. Go north several miles
and turn north on Ottawa Street. You will go through several stop signs

to boat ramp is about 1/2 mile. The city of De Soto is developing Riverfest Park so you will pass several entrances to camping and picnic area. Turn right at the entrance with the blue boat ramp sign and follow the road to a large gravel parking lot.
Access Info: Access is public and the City of De Soto continues to upgrade the park. Parking is plentiful. The ramp is 32 feet wide and accommodates two vehicles. Concrete is heavily grooved for traction and base of ramp extends out into the channel approximately 40 ft. Ramp is at a 12%. Also visit Friends of the Kaw's Demonstration Rain Garden that is just to the right of the boat ramp.
Float Info: The next public access is the Cedar Creek Access Park located 5.2 miles downstream at river mile 26.1. First access upstream is the Eudora Access at river mile 42. If you plan to take out at the Cedar Creek access ramp be sure to review the instructions on entering Cedar Creek under float info on the Cedar Creek page.
