The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is taking comments until Dec. 9, 2011 on a public notice that expands in-river dredging from 10 to 13 sites on the Kaw River.  We need our members and the public to let the USACE know that we are against in-river dredging - PERIOD!  Please give the Kaw a holiday gift and take a few minutes to email or mail a comment letter to the USACE.  Our grandkids deserve a bright future with clean drinking water and a ecologically healthy river - not a rock lined ditch!
