Spring weather is finally arriving, but Friends of the Kaw has been busy planning all winter! Agriculture plays a major role in Kansas’ society and economy. Friends of the Kaw is proud to work with Kansas farmers and ranchers, and has several upcoming events to help improve the status of ecologically friendly farming throughout the Kansas River watershed. Friends of the Kaw is a co-sponsor of an Agricultural Workshop and Tour on March 28 from 9am to 4pm in Jackson and Shawnee Counties.
