May 5, Saturday, Kansas River Paddling Seminar from 10am to noon at the Bass Pro Shop in Olathe (canoe & kayak section on the 2nd floor.)
  No registration is required for this informational class.  The Kansas Riverkeeper will discuss paddling on the Kansas River, safety concerns, locations of access ramps and other information.  May 12, Saturday, Community Float and Rain Garden Maintenance  from 10am to 3pm at the De Soto access ramp. We will weed the rain garden and then float from De Soto to Cedar Creek.  Use of canoes and kayaks will be at no charge but you must RSVP with the Kansas Riverkeeper via "contact us" on this web site or at 913 963 3460.
