 Our guest speaker will be Dr. Melinda Daniels, Associate Professor of Geography from Kansas State University, discussing her research on the degradation caused by in-river dredging on the Kansas River. Tickets for the
dinner are a suggested donation of $40@ and RSVP's must be made by November 9. A buffet dinner from Uncle Buck's restaurant will feature: Garden Salad, Grilled Breast of Chicken with Pineapple Salsa, sliced Sirloin with Red Wine Mushroom Sauce, Green Beans, Red Roasted Potatoes, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and dessert. 6:00 to 7:00pm - Social Hour, Cash Bar and Silent Auction bidding begins 7:00 to 7:45pm - Dinner 7:45 to 8:30pm - Speaker 8:30 to 9:000pm - Silent Auction (ends at 8:50pm) Friends of the Kaw is also gladly accepting appropriate items for the silent auction.
